Video pixelates, scambles

Since late December 2019 the video has randomly pixelated, frozen, and/or scrambled. Everything was fine up until that point. Was there some software update or firmware update recently? I know it's not our equipment because I was on another side of town watching someone else's Directv and the same exact thing happened during a broadcast. So it's not just our receivers and it must not be DVR because the one I was watching wasn't a DVR and also was an older model receiver. Have already reset each receiver and the same thing keeps occurring. Even if it's not just Directv at least someone look into it geez...

We're here to help, @DorisFaye!

Has there been any bad weather recently in your area? Could you also let us know whether this is showing on all of your channels, or just a few of them? You may want to check your cable connections to ensure everything has secure.

We suggest you check out our DirecTV Troubleshooting, to look into why pixelation and freezing may occur with your service, and steps you can take to resolve it.

Let us know if this helps- we hope to hear back from you!
