I'm not getting any sound or video when trying to watch something from DirecTv. The tv sound and video work perfectly fine when playing a dvd, but when I try to watch tv, nothing.

Does this happen on every channel? Is this affecting just one receiver, or all of them? If you haven't already, we'd recommend trying these steps below.

thank you for responding.. it was on every channel but I saw others have this issue so I found the red button and pressed that, which did the reset/refresh and it worked fine :)
