Lost channel 206 this year not happy

Been paying same amount for may years through you guys and renewed last December not realizing channel 20⁶ was not included now I've been told I have to pay more to get deal this is ridiculous making rethink if I want to stay with you guys.  Man I talked too was nice but at the end of the day I didnt get my channel back.  Uou would make me a very satisfied customer if someone can get this resolved I would miss all the Monday night football games and like I said I've been paying around this much for 5 or y years no problem why now please let me know would be greatly appreciated...

you need to sign up for the package that has is, channels cannot be added ala carte and cant be just added back into a different package all willy nilly, these packages are negotiated with the networks before hand

I just dont like the fact I had that channel every year but this, gonna look into other options from other providers going forward that are more consistent....

All providers have a cause in their TOS that states channel and programming are subject to change at any time.

ESPN is in most packages so with one do you have?

Yeah I know, but I have other espn channels just not that one but I'm being told I have to spend 30 extra dollars to get that one included in my package deal., just and unexpected cost for something I thought was already included that's all....

ESPN and ESPN 2 are in Entertainment, Choice, Xtra, Ultimate, and Premier. The only current packages that don't have it are Family and Select. That hasn't changed in years.

 

If you have Family or Select, then ESPN would only be there during a freeview (typically the Xtra level). There is a known issue where when a freeview ended, some channels didn't de-authorize (turn-off) as they were supposed to and stayed for much longer. Recently DirecTV had a major freeview because of Covid, which when ended seemed to finally kick through the correct authorizations that cleared the issue.

 

So if you are Entertainment or higher, you have ESPN and ESPN2. If you are below that (Family or Select) then you weren't supposed to be getting those channels.
