Epix free preview channels BLACKED OUT

So just like the HD MOVIE PACK channels were blacked out, the EPIX channels which are in free preview right now are blacked out. On both my dvrs.

 

Typical Directv tech support blamed me. Had me do dvr reset on both dvrs. Then satellite setup. Neither worked. So they sent a trouble ticket down some rathole that I'll never hear a reply on. 

 

This is what decades of loyalty gets me? I miss directv that actually valued its premium customers.

The Showtime channels aren’t live yet either. Someone is asleep at the switch. Not sure why you think this has anything to do with loyalty.

Message shows about the free showtime and epix October 1-4. It is not loading on my tv, why?

We recommend refreshing your DirecTV services. Can help with black out trouble you are currently having.

 

There are users who have reported by selecting the actually channel. The channel will appear properly.

 

You can also browse the entire Epix free preview list.

Mine are also blacked out but if you select the channel(s) - they play and you can watch.  However, unable to record with the black out lines.

The Showtime/EPIX free preview started today, but I am only getting channel 545, not 545-560 as advertised.

Yes it's all blacked out ATT ruined Directv. I called tech support was clueless.

You can try refreshing your DirecTV services. This will resynchronize your accounts, services, and channels. And, may clear the recording trouble are currently having.

I just called Technical Support and spoke with an agent who advised that this is a 'Known Issue' which is being worked on by their 'back office'. We already tried a 'hard reset' (using the red button on the front of the receiver) as well as sending a refresh to the receiver and neither of these options worked so she advised checking back every 30-60 minutes to see if the channels are working as expected but assured me it would be resolved soon.

Still not working after reset! Was able to got 1 channel 545. That’s it. I assume directives will add another day to the free preview since we all missed out on today.

Go to:

 

Menu---Setup---Favorites---Choose a List--All Channels

 

Works on my HR54

 

Can see all free channel and all paid Channels

@Chieffoot ,   Yes, most probably had those favorites channels NOT checked.  I had them checked a couple days ago and when the FREE viewing is done, they get unchecked in my favorites.  Nice heads up you had or your timing was just right.

I had just the channels "I Get" setup as favorites.  Picked all channels and all is OK.  When the free view is over, I will go back to just the ones I get. No need to see all the others if you do not subscribe to them.

After preview is over, they will drop off your “Channels I Get” unless you subscribe to them. 

If you are saying they show on your channels I Get with out you doing anything, maybe DTV corrected the problem.
