DirecTV HBO with AT&T Unlimited Elite plan?

Hi, I just upgraded to the ATT Unlimited Elite data plan, which includes HBO....will I now be able to get HBO on my DirecTV, or only thru the computer and HBO GO apps?

It may take awhile but as long as your wireless and Directv accounts are under the same name and billing address, HBO should get added to your Directv account.

I am in this same situation. @sandblaster, when you mention it will take awhile - how long is that exactly? I was told by support that it could take up to 72 hours but it's been much longer than that and still nothing on Directv . Apps, etc. work fine. I do have separate user IDs for each service but support mention what you said - as long as name and billing address are the same, you'll be good to go even with different user IDs for wireless and directv - just curious how long this actually takes.

@ErikwithaK3380 It took almost a week for the HBO channels to activate on my Directv. I’ve got separate user id’s for each also. I believe there is a free HBO preview right now, you should be getting those channels for at least this weekend.

@sandblaster - ok thanks. I was on chat with WatchTV support and apparently they had to escalate to sales team for some reason as they couldn't force it to Directv from their end. I'm going to let things simmer for a week and then try calling again.
