How do I move my U-Verse gateway & DVR to a room that is served by a wired receiver?
I need to move my U-Verse gateway and DVR to another room that is served by a wired receiver. Is this as simple as plug-n-play, or is there more to it?

The gateway will only function when connected to the current wall jack. Other wall jacks in your home will not have data access. So, you can find longer data cables on line to extend the reach of your gateway, or you can pay AT&T $149 to come and relocate your data service to another room. Call 800.288.2020 to schedule this.
