How can I get an IR Remote that will go through the cabinet door?
All my equipment is in a cabinet. How can I get an IRRemote that will go through the cabinet door as my previous Xfinity and prior to that Dish Network did. This remote I was given is OLD technology.

No infrared remote will work for you, you'll need a RF (radio frequency) remote. You can find U-verse RF remotes on eBay. Alternately, you can just use the AT&T U-verse app on your smartphone or table to control the box while in the cabinet.
