What does AT&T Fiber get me other than fast internet?

I've gotten a notification that I'm eligible for AT&T Fiber. AT&T's promotional material touts fast internet, which is great. But will there be any improvement in my Uverse television service? Right now I've got U200 with 18mbs internet.

Thanks. In signing up, I notice that AT&T is adding two $7 monthly fees called "High Speed Internet Equipment Fee". What is that?

You probably have a High Speed Internet Equipment Fee already, but it may be a grandfathered, lower amount (e.g. $4/month). This fee is nominally for the Residential Gateway. You still need one for AT&T Fiber; you may need a newer one.
