Volume on the receiver got turned down by accident. I want to turn it back up, but don't know how

I replaced the batteries in my remote.  When that happened, the remove stopped controlling the TV so I had to reset the remote. Between replacing the new batteries and getting it reset, the volume on the TV receiver got turned down.  I need to know how to turn it backup.  I cannot find any information on how to fix the issue.  I have tried over the last two days to use the Troubleshoot and Resolve function directly it issues and error message which follows:

Please call Customer Care at 1-800-288-2020.  Error type: Service Error  GID: 123a30280-14c1-42f8-8655b-60e413b5301b.  

I haven't call Customer Care because I know that it can be fixed if I had the instructions.
