Hi @chinahart,

We are sorry about the issues you are having with your remote, but we will be glad to help. It sounds like it is not making it into program mode. To get into program mode, while holding the mode key, press the OK key for about one second, then release both buttons. All the mode keys should flash twice, indicating you're in the programming mode. You'll now have 10 seconds to start the next step. Here is an article that goes over programming the remote.

Consistent with the original post, following the automatic setup, upon entering the 922 code, the TV enters the "My Multiview" screen.  All steps prior to entering the code are consistent with the instructions.

I also attempted the manual setup.  One code through the manual setup reacted as indicated in the instructions (three flashes) but the TV would not react to remote inputs.  The second code only resulted in one long flash of the TV button and no responsiveness from remote button inputs.

We can assist you with your inquiry about your remote control, rellimeel1906.

Please elaborate on what you're experiencing so that we can help.

To make sure that you're programming your remote correctly, use our remote control setup tool:

  1. With your TV on, use your U-verse TV remote and press Menu.
  2. Select Help > Information > Remote Control Setup.
  3. Next, select your remote control from the TV onscreen list. Refer to your specific remote for TV/device setup options.
  4. Select Top Ten Brand SetupAutomatic Code, or Manual Setup. Here's a brief description of each option:
    • Top Ten Brand Setup - A quick way to program for popular TV brands. (After choosing this option, select TV or Audio Device, and then select your brand.)
    • Automatic Code Search - Your remote searches for the right device code. (After choosing this option, select TV or Audio Device, and then follow the instructions.)
    • Manual Setup - You search for the code and enter it for your device. (After choosing this option, enter the letters of your device brand name and follow the instructions.)

You can also use our remote control troubleshooting tips. The U-verse TV troubleshoot and resolve tool is a good place to start:

  1. Press Menu
  2. Select Help > Information.
  3. Select Troubleshoot & Resolve
  4. Press OK.
  5. Select TV > Remote Control > Troubleshooting, then follow the prompts.

As a side note, we recommend creating your own thread, since this one is pretty old and may be closed to further posting.

We'll be awaiting your response.
