You posted under U-verse TV, which is an IPTV provider.  You must use an AT&T U-verse TV Receiver with each TV.  The TV cannot find the channels without using the Receiver.  When using the Receiver, you want to connect it with either an HDMI or Component cable and select that input to watch TV instead of doing any channels scanning.

Use the TV remote to select the HDMI input that you've connected the TV receiver on.  What do you see?  Does the TV Receiver have lights on?

I inadvertently hit the home button on the TV remote. I scrolled to input and HDMI 1 and it works! Thanks for the comments and suggests!
