Screen size and resolution issue on Motorola VIP1200 receiver
The receiver only has a setting for screen size - I set it to HD-16:9. The picture does not fill the screen and the picture quality is not HD. The screen resolution and aspect ratio is correct via OTA antenna. There must be a proper setting on this receiver.

What channel number? HD is 1000-1999.

Also...
How (i.e. via what kind of cable) is your U-verse TV Receiver connected to the TV (choices are coax, composite, component or HDMI)?
Have you tried adjusting your TV's aspect ratio or Zoom setting for the input to which the U-verse Receiver is connected?

I ended up getting tech assistance from AT&T. They had to change receiver configurations that I couldn't perform on the receiver myself. After several attempts the problem has been corrected. The connection is via HDMI, and I did go through those settings you suggested. Thank you so much for your response. I will mark this resolved or delete the post.
