Remote control

Uverse remote numerical buttons no longer work properly.  Worn out from use and not mishandled.  Why does ATT want to charge me $20 for a replacement?  Is that how customer support is supposed to work?

I contacted ATT customer support and was able to get them to replace the controller at no charge to me. the customer service agent was most helpful. I can somewhat understand why ATT wants to charge for replacement items, so it's worth the call if you feel that the units in question aren't working properly and it's not the fault of the user.

I called ATT and was waived the cost of a new controller.  So, they sent me three of them.  Oh well, if that's how they do the math, that's ok with me as long as they don't charge me.
