RC1534801 remote replacement

We have the silver U-verse RC1534801 remote.  It is on its last legs.

What is the replacement for this model as it appears to be obsolete? Where is the best place to get a replacement online?

Visually, the replacement appears to be an S10 model but appearances can be deceiving.

Thanks,

Obsolete?  Mine still do what they are designed to do.  Volume down went out a long time ago, but can use the TV button and the rt/lft arrows to control volume on my Panasonic.

Click the ATT Uverse Care link in my signature, send the PM, explain your remote replacement situation.

Include your name, account #, email address and a good phone # (land or cell) and time to contact you on.

Check the blue PM envelope, upper right on every page, for their reply. Good luck 😉

Is the "AT&T U-verse TV Standard Remote Control" (SKU# CY-RC1055-AT) a direct replacement for the RC1534801?  I hate to "assume" that it is and find out it's not exactly a replacement when I get it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

@rfluegge Just use the ATT Uverse Care link I gave above, they'll get them to you free. 😉

Chris,

Many thanks ... I sent PM as you suggested.

Just out of curiousity, is that an "official" AT&T PM link?

Again, thanks,

Ron

Here's who it goes to:

This is not the regular CS/TS phone people, but the social media Community Specialists that know the people to contact to get things done and gone above and beyond for me.

These guys, Morgan, David T and Sadath, have more intelligence and higher capabilities of the highest phone techs and can do almost anything on your account for you.

A common problem here is users get a notice on the TV, that it can't connct because of the account settings.  They call support and they can't help them, only a prem tech can bring another DVR/STB to put on their account.

ATT Uverse Care can fix the error code causing this problem 10 minutes after they get the user's account info. Smiley Surprised
