My remote keeps turning red every time I press a button
Anytime I press a button on my s30 Uverse remote the power button turns red. I tried replacing the batteries and resetting the remote but nothing is working I even took some isopropyl alcohol to the buttons to make sure they weren’t sticking.

I just changed my batteries. My power light turns red and all the lights turn on. It functions normally.
If your remote functions normally, I wouldn't worry about the red light.
