Moving an AT&T U-Verse TV.

So, I have a U-Verse TV that I'd like to move to my room. I don't intend to watch TV on it; I'm only using it for Video Games. Is there a procedure to this or can I just set it up in my room?

How is it connected, coax, cat5e/ethernet patch cable or wireless?  Different instructions for each type.  If wireless, just move it to the new location. Smiley Surprised

I'm not really too tech-savvy, so to be hoenst, I'm not sure. I've attached some pics, so maybe that could answer the question? It's a Samsung SP01, if that helps.

Best picture would be a picture of the back of the Uverse STB to see connections and connection to wall.  Bottom picture is too fuzzy to see anything.  TV is really unimportant, it can go anywhere, Uverse STB might not. Smiley Surprised

You have coax to the TV and looks like Uverse ethernet patch cable to a wall connection.  There has to be Uverse going to a wall plate in the new room you want it in for it to work.

The white ethernet cable would screw into it, like it is now; would have to be unscrewed from the current wall plate. 😉
