How Do I Connect U-Verse Wireless Receiver to Nest/Google Mesh WIFi?
Setup of Nest/Google Mesh WiFi want exceedingly well. We now have very fast internet all over.
Just one problem: I cannot get the the AT&T U-Verse Wireless Receiver (Cisco ISB7005 Internet Protocol Set Top Box) to connect to my new network. The only workable solution so far has been to reconnect the original AT&T WiFi access point (Cisco VEN401-AT) to the AT&T Gateway (Arris NVG589)
So now I have two wireless networks running which was not the plan. How can I connect the wireless receiver to my Nest/Google Mesh WiFi?

Technically you started with 3 wireless networks runnings. The 2.4ghz&5ghz networks your NVG589 was providing, + the 5ghz network that supplies only the isb7005(+1 more wireless stb box if you have another one).
Once you set up the new mesh network you'll want to disable the 2.4ghz/5ghz networks on the nvg589. You've replaced those 2 networks with your new nest mesh network. (and your wirelessly signals have probably improved significantly)
The wireless stb will only run directly from the ven401. so that should remain plugged directly in nvg589 and setup the way it was originally.
You end up with 3 networks again.
The SSID(name) of the networks is an option, generally the ven401 doesn't broadcast it's name so you don't see it when you connect a device(laptop or phone, etc) to wifi. If you mess with the settings of the ven401 it will broadcast it's ssid as CISCO****(some numbers).
