Not with the u-verse app. You can only watch what they offer you.
You need a slingbox or other such device connected to the output of an STB for content and the inernet for transport and an IR blaster for control.
After setup, you can control/watch the STB on any computer browser with access to the internet or get the slingbox app & watch on your mobil device as if you were home in your living room.
