CABLE BOX NOT WORKING

I have a at&t uverse cable box cisco. We pay a lot of money for our cable and we are UNABLE to watch tv. I have been trying to contact someone and can't get in touch with anyone. Our cable box lights up green in the internet cord in the back but when we try to turn the power on nothing happens. It does not light up. We have tried resetting, unplugging, and nothing is working.

Have you tried rebooting the gateway first and then reboot the box?

Yes I have! I am unable to even restart the cable box. If I hold down the power button nothing even happens.

Sounds like a dead box...and equipment does die.

Unfortunately, you'll have to call CS and request a replacement. Good news: one can be sent for a self-install. You have 60 days to return the bad one. If this is your DVR, you will lose your recordings but not you schedule.

thank you so much. Is there a number? I’ve tried every possible number I could find and every time I call it makes you wait and then just hangs up.
