When a power supply goes out...6 days to replace.
My AT&T Uverse Receiver power supply quit working. I know this because I swapped out the power supply with a power supply I had at home and everything worked. So I called AT&T and asked if I could pick up a power supply from them (AT&T Store) instead they are going to ship me a whole new Receiver and power supply in 6 days. So I'll be without TV for 6 days over 4th of July weekend. Why can't AT&T stock a simple Power Supply at AT&T Stores?
And I'll have to return their old receiver in 60 days or be charged a fee.
(Can only return at UPS & FedEx not at AT&T stores. (Edited per community guidelines))
I pay too much ($180 a Month) for this kind of service. I think I'll try the other bad customer service company. At least my cost will go down for awhile. Loyal customers don't get as good a deal as New Customers at AT&T.
P.S. AT&T Installers should have spare parts in their trucks & AT&T Stores should have Receivers on hand as well.
Note: Customer Service has turned into as little as possible only to benefit AT&T, not the Customer. There's efficient and then there is cheap.
