VEN501 AP
My ap for the receivers is on channel 36, which is overloaded by neighbors and the signal to my receivers is causing problems. I have had this before at another residence a few years ago. I was able to login to the ap and change the radio channel to a clear one, and fixed the same issues. Now when i login to the ap, and make changes, it will not save the changes and reverts to the channel 36. After clicking the save button and going back to the settings, nothing changed and I have tried over and over, its acting like changes are locked out I guess. I need to change the radio channel and its driving me crazy because I have fixed this issue before and now it wont let me.

If you have the same troubles after ensuring your modem is in a good location we recommend trying out our Smart Home Manager app. This app has lots of great features that will help maximize your Wi-Fi.
We hope this helps @4wheelsoffury, please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Hello. Usually these devices aren’t setup to accommodate user interactions. However, if you’ve gotten admin access, turn off SCS if you see that available. Smart channel scan. By default, the WAP will use some algorithm to find a good channel, but its never worked well for me and I force a manual channel based on a site survey I’ve done, and by the sounds of it, you’re doing as well.
