Uverse TV Receiver Keeps Losing Signal

My Uverse receiver keeps losing signal and going to the “Signal has been lost” screen. When I change the channel to any other channel, it works for about 10 seconds, then loses signal again.

I have reset my gateway, reset my receiver, and swapped HDMI cables.

Nothing fixes it.

Someone help please!

I have been having the same issue. When I did the online help they sent me a new box, same issues. I had to call again and get a technician out. He said I was using an old box, and replaced with the newest gateway and now everything works great.

So, me personally.. I've had 4 Sr Techs out to the house.. this issue has been going on since I got the new Arris Router in March.  Two of the techs told me the signal in the router has been 'turned down' so it's not reaching the TVs upstairs, and the WAP is not helping due to this fact.  We've had AT&T since around 2005 or so.... I think it's about time to find a new provider (Spectrum) and cancel service with AT&T.  I even have a mesh system I'm using and it's not helping my TV issues of signal dropping upstairs intermittently all day, every day, and issues with watching a movie on the DVR (Stopping and saying it can't find the movie I was just watching which is recorded.. so I have to keep restarting the movie over again)..  This is beyond frustrating.. Since March of 2020 I've been dealing with this beyond annoying problem.

If someone can please help me, I'd appreciate it greatly.

I have EXACTLY the same issue.  AT&T has replaced the Cable modem, the primary DVR AND the wireless DVR Receiver.  Still, it has issues connecting to Uverse.  I'm so frustrated they can't fix it.

I want to use a WiFi repeater, but I don't know how to get the DVR Receiver to connect to the repeater.  Any help?  please

A mesh WiFi system or repeater do not have anything to do with the wireless stb’s. The WAP sets up a dedicated WiFi network for the wireless stb’s.

If you haven’t already, unplug all equipment. Plug the gateway back in first. Let it fully reboot. Then plug in the dvr. Once it restarts, stop. Use the dvr only for a few hours. If you have tv picture problems you have a bad dvr and need a replacement. If no picture problems on the dvr, plug in the WAP. Then one stb. Test the stb.  If picture drops, get a long Ethernet cable (50 Feet plus). Temporarily connect the wap using the long cable upstairs. If you get no signal drops, you’ll need to somehow keep the WAP closer to the wireless stb’s. The wireless stb’s can be connected to the gateway via Ethernet cable. The WAP is plugged into the gateway?

A different brand gateway may be worth a try.

For the amount of money that AT&T charges is criminal. Always losing signal on a station flip to another ok. This has been everyday for the last 2 weeks. I just got a new box 2 months ago. Today 10/9 channel 10 WPLG can’t keep a signal. Once my daughter comes over and deals with AT&T and can’t resolve after 40+ years including 2 landlines it will be over.

Still same (Edited per community guidelines).  Freezing pixels losing signal

Nothing fixed time to sever all AT&T accounts

My daughter will be calling and I want some kind of credit also for interrupting service constant. Everyday all day doesn’t matter on channel.🤬🤬😡😡
