Uverse dvr

I spend over $1200 a year for your service and when I lose two years of dvr product I've been paying to keep recorded because of the hardware I rent and pay for every month stops working.

One day my main uverse box stopped working so I called Att they sent an awesome tech out which did what the employee of the phone said they might do and that was to replace the dvr box. But why isn't the money I'm spending being used to come up with a product that has a removable hard drive. So customer don't have to question their service because they lost the main reason the have the service

The DVR is not intended for long term storage. If you want to achieve recordings, you might consider using a DVD recorder to record any programs that you want to save long term to a DVD.
