Incomplete playback of Food Network DVR Recordings.

I have been having a lot of trouble playing back Food Network recordings.  It shows the entire show recorded, but I am unable to playback the entire show. Sometimes it stops playing with five minutes left.  Sometimes it stops playing half way through.  Once it stopped playing immediately after I hit the play button.  It doesn't matter if I try to play it back on the DVR or one of the receivers.

I was able to research and find a great Forum’s Thread on DIRECTV On Demand Playback & Movie Download Issues - Error 927. I would recommend following the troubleshooting in the article listed. This will have thorough process to follow.

@ATTHelp I'm having the exact same issue. Most of the time i hit Play and immediately get thrown back to the menu like there's nothing there.

Even Food Network recordings that do record stop halfway through. This has been happening for weeks and is not happening on any other channel. The link provided above is not helpful.

@ATTHelp having the same issue on U-verse platform and it’s super annoying! Please fix! This has been happening for weeks now. Never happens on other channels.

I chatted with the Uverse help line and the agent indicated it is a problem with Food Network and the trouble ticket would be elevated. The agent indicated they would schedule a follow up with me to see if the issue is resolved. I hope to report back they actually fixed something.

@sounderandrews That’s encouraging. Funny this is its happening to me right now...lol on my 2nd dvr recording Today that I’m watching and stops. 1st was worst cooks and then the Amy Schumer one. Super frustrating. Look forward to hearing what they have to say and thanks so much for keeping us updated!

For the last couple (4-6) days we had a problem with every food network recording (GGG, Amy Schumer, Chopped). After we talked to the help desk, and they said they elevated the ticket, we have now recorded 2 programs with no issues (Chopped and GGG). hopefully it's fixed, but still no follow up scheduled from Uverse.

I am having the exact same problem. It is so frustrating. I love so many shows on Food Network and it is really disappointing that I am unable to watch them. Thank you for trying to get this resolved. Hopefully it can be fixed soon!

Glad I’m not alone. Every Food Network show I record looks like it recorded but, when I go to play, it’s stops immediately and says Start Over or Erase. It’s only happens on Food Network shows. What’s the problem??
