HDMI Extension from bathroom closet to my kitchen tv

Hi,

I had an HDMI Extension from bathroom closet to my kitchen tv for as long as I can remember. We were away on vacation came back and tv wasn’t getting a signal. Called a A/V Specialist, three hours of troubleshooting later couldn’t find anything wrong with the lines or jacks. As a last ditch effort, I switched receivers from another room and it worked as usual with a clear signal. The original receiver worked fine in the room where I took the other from. Both worked. Now back from a long weekend, same problem. Tried the same trick, now both receivers don’t emit a signal.

Do you have the correct input selected for the tv? Unplug the gateway. Unplug all stb’s. Plug the gateway back in and let it get all green lights. Plug in the dvr, let if fully reboot. Plug in the remaining stb’s. Confirm that the dvr and stb’s are all correctly connected to the TVs and gateway. If no picture after the above steps, call for a tech visit.
