Unplug.

Wait 30 seconds.

Plug it back in.

When you see the three circles on the screen, unplug.

Repeat that process.

Repeat it again.

The third time you see the three circles, keep it plugged in.

Did that help?

Hello @Jcabba, we are happy to help.

Try doing a non-destructive recovery and seeing if it is still happening. To do so:

  1. Unplug the receiver or DVR power cord from the wall or back of the box.
  2. Wait 10 seconds.
  3. Plug in the receiver and DVR.
  4. When three white dots appear on the screen, unplug the receiver/DVR again.
  5. Repeat this process two more times.
  6. Plug the receiver/DVR back in on the third time and leave in. Three white dots appear followed by a gear with a status bar at the bottom of the screen.
  7. If the Disaster Recovery screen does not appear, repeat the steps above.

Hope this helps.

Nothing recorded... perform a full factory reset....

Depress and hold the POWER, OK and DOWN buttons all at same time... after  a few seconds release the POWER button while continuing to hold OK and DOWN.

The front panel lights will flash 3 times, then let go of the OK and DOWN buttons, check back in 15 to 30 minutes.

This load new software, wiping out the HARD DRIVE and ALL recordings.

The most likely issue is the DVR is from a previous account that has recordings stored... as not your account you cannot see, access or remove the recordings yet they are there taking up space on the hard drive.
