Reboot did not help the stop and start problems in playback

Since rebooting didn't solve the playback trouble, try running diagnostics on your receiver with the Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool. Be sure to sign in first so that the steps are specific to your account and equipment. You can even schedule a service call from the Tool, if necessary.
