AT&T U-Verse with Amazon Fire Cube

I have set-up my new Amazon Fire Cube and it has successfully connected with my TV (Samsung) and new A/V receiver (Denon AVR-S640H), but trying both the assisted method and manual method, it does communicate with my U-Verse box (Cisco ISB7500). Any suggestions?

We're here to help! Is the receiver (cable box) added in Equipment Control settings? If you haven't yet, check out Amazon's troubleshooting steps for this device.

I'm having the same problem in that the Amazon Cube will not turn on or off the AT&T Uverse cable box. My cable box is from Cisco (Scientific Atlantic) IPN330HD. I've tried removing the equipment and re-installing it. I've rebooted the Amazon Cube. I've looked at the Amazon troubleshooting info which doesn't provide any help.

Any additional thoughts from AT&T or is this just a lost cause?
