Watching live TV in Europe

I used to be able to watch some of the live TV channels while I was traveling in Europe. It doesn't seem like I can do that any more. Any suggestions how I can use my uverse ap to actually watch TV anytime...anywhere?

We'll gladly look into this for you, @Uverse.

Keep in mind that content varies based on the viewing location. What device(s) are you using to watch the live programming and what message appears on the screen when you select a channel?

I have been using the same iphone 6 for 4 years. I frquently stay at the same hotels in Madrid and Paris. My phone is using their wifi and has worked well for several years. I have 5 channels that are my favorites and are live. My local NBC channel5, as well as national channels FNC, Weather channel, History channel and NatGeo. Only the local channel will play a short time and then show a black screen. the back screen comes on immediately with the national channels. It says something to the effect..."Network viewing not allowed from your present location." I will be in London this weekend and would love to be able to use my uverse ap.

Hey@Uverse,

It looks like the shows or contents your trying to view outside the home are not available for viewing at the location your at. Most content is not available for viewing in certain locations.

Have you tried reinstalling the app?

I have not tried uninstalling my ap, but curious why it no longer allows me to view TV "anytime, anywhere" as promised even when I turn off wifi and try to use my cellular data.

Hey @Uverse,

I would say try reinstalling the app first because there shouldn't have been any changes I'm aware of here.
