It never fails. This always happens when they update the app. But this time, in addition to me having to reset my password, the app crashes when I try to view a channel. I get an error message: UVM 509. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, but I continue to get the same error. Ugh.
The U-Verse app has been one big bag of hurt ever since I've been using it, and that's a very long time.
