Let's get your issue addressed! Have you tried restarting the Fire TV?

Also, are you able to watch Uverse App on a tablet or a smartphone with no issues?

I am getting the same error and I have tried all the things that were suggested above.  I even reset my TV to factory settings. Please have a live human address this please.

I am suddenly getting the following error when ever I try to watch live tv from the app on my fire tv

error from internal player: com.quickplay.vstb.plugin:9210/NexPlayerListener.onStatusReport() msg=nexplayer_status_report_video_get_codec_failed(com.quickplay.plugin.player.nexplayer:10203)(com.quickplay.vstb.core:1404) - see internal error for detail

 

I've tried clearing data and cache and reinstalling the app but still get the error

Yes, I have tried turning the tv off and back on, uninstalling the app and reinstalling the app, clearing cache and cookies, and restoring factory default settings on tv. 

Still getting the same error.

Have you ever been able to watch live TV on the Fire TV U-verse App? Also, what is the name of the app you have installed?

Are you able to watch on a different device, like a smartphone or tablet?

I can watch Uverse using the cable box plus I have another tv with a Firestick and Uverse works on that tv also. The issue with the internal player seems to be isolated to the FireTV.

Is your TV on the most current software? You may want to try forcing an update to ensure it's running efficiently.

It's good that you've tried reinstalling and clearing the data and cache. After you've ensured that the TV is on the current software, we recommend going through those troubleshooting steps again.

This is a brand new FireTv and is on the current software - 6.2.6.5 (NS6265/2155)

The app was working just a couple days ago (like Friday) but stopped working this weekend.

Can't steam from Uverse app on INSIGNIA fire TV, was able to last week but can't since 8/22/19.

Getting the following error when streaming shows but will stream sport channels with no problem.

 

Error from Internal Player:

Com.quickplay.vstb.plugin.player:9210/

The app will play on another TV fine, just not on the INSIGNIA - reset to default still same error, updated TV software no change.

Again everything was working fine weeks ago - is anyone else having this same issue?

The firetv worked fine previously and I am able to watch tv on a fire stick as well as the cable box.
