Frustrating login problem with U-verse and Fire TV Cube apps

I've had terrible problems with ATT U-verse login from day 1, it seems the authentication protocol is just bad. My most recent issue is when trying to log into certain apps that call for auth through the Fire Cube, it doesn't not work. I login, it takes me back to the app but doesn't register as I've signed in. I try to log in with another app through Cube and I get the error with "fullfilling the request to ''... etc." 


If I authorize through the browser with a code it's fine but this is extremely annoying because half of the apps make you do it through the Cube. This is making me highly consider changing ISPs. 


I read someone else here that making a sub account then factory reset might work and it did not. I tried rebooting router and Cube. I cleared all app cache data as well.

It's understood that you're trying to stream using your Fire TV Cube. We will do our best to assist you through our Community Forum. 


You mentioned U-verse and "ISP", therefore the assumption is that you have both AT&T Internet in association with U-verse TV. Authentication should be choosing AT&T U-verse and then logging in with your credentials. Are you attempting to stream through the U-verse app, or specific network apps? 


Is this issue specific to all networks you're attempting to access? Have you attempted to reset your AT&T User ID password on attempt to re-sync for streaming purpose? If not, you might try that to see if that resolves. 


Do you receive any authentication errors on attempt to stream networks through their apps, when choosing AT&T U-verse as the provider? For example, if you have an Android or iOS mobile device; can you download a subscribed network app and login to stream using your credentials?
