Can't login to Uverse mobile app

Downloaded the Uverse mobile app to my iPhone 6s and does not allow me to login.

I try my login which I set up during my install and a pop-up comes on and says 'Login Required' Please log in with your Uverse Member ID (email address).

So I googled this issue and found out how to find my Member ID (email address) and it still doesn't work.

It gives me the general Login Error.

Hi - I actually tried this before. They give my Uverse ID and when I try to login, it doesn't work.


I think there are a couple of issues here. First, I think the fact that I was a Uverse customer years ago is messing this up. Because when I try to reset my password by using my ID, this is what I get:


Your account is inactive. You will not be able to reset the password with your account in this status. If you are under 13 years of age, your parents need to re-approve your access to your email account and other AT&T online services. Your parents can Log In with their User ID (e.g., johndoe@att.net) to give that approval.

Second, what password am I using for this mobile app? The password to myAT&T account does not work and I tried to get a temp password set up but it sent me to some other AT&T app that reset my mobile account password. It seems you'll need to get me a brand new user ID for the app and send me a link in which I can set up a password for the app.

I appreciate your quick response and the added details you have provided!  We can discuss this a bit further.


From the way you describe it, it does sound like there is a mix up with your old account.  It would be best to create a new ID associated with your new account.  Please click here to see information about the U-verse app and here for registering for a new ID and password.  Please let us know if you still need help.

I couldn’t either.  I didn’t pre register my U-verse and just let the AT&T guy do it.  He didn’t do it right, so I started over from the original email about installation day.  It all works beautifully now

I keep using my email and my phone number and my account number and I can’t login! I reinstalled as well. U-verse app

Can’t login on U-verse mobile app.  Keeps giving me a Login Error.  The U-verse mobile service is temporary unavailable.  Please try again later.   This has been going on for days.  My login is correct as I can sign into the MyAT&T account.  What is going on?
