AT&T U-Verse account not recognized by app

My account ID and password works everywhere except on the AT&T U-Verse app. What am I doing wrong?

We'd love to help with your streaming app, @Qhamal.

What device are you using? What error message are you getting? Are you using the correct ID and password? To make sure, please Find your User ID to sign in.

We also suggest that you clear cache on your device, uninstall the app, refresh your device, reinstall the app and then reset you password to see if that helps.

I am having this exact same issue. I have done all the suggestions, and chatted with ATT chat and issue still not resolved. they said it would be fixed and has been escalated, but still cannot login.
