When is AT&T Fiber Going to be Available - Things to know from AT&T
When is AT&T Internet coming to my neighborhood? We're Working On It
AT&T Internet is not available in all areas but AT&T is working to change that! Below, you will find information explaining:
- why services may not be available
- other AT&T internet options
- news about AT&T Fiber expansions
Why AT&T Internet is not available
- Distance – AT&T Internet is a distance-dependent service. If you are too far away from the equipment, certain services may not be available. This means your neighbor may have service but your home cannot.
- Equipment is not available – To get service, AT&T Internet equipment has to be in the area. In some instances, it isn't. We do not have information if or when it will be.
- The area is not built for U-verse – some areas are not U-verse ready. The Community team does not have information if or when it will be. Distance and equipment can play a key in instances like this.
- Another competitor services there area - This happens from time to time but it does not mean all services are not available to you. Check out other internet options below!
Note: In order to get higher speeds, you must be within a certain distance of the serving equipment or the equipment must be present in the area. Points 1 and 2 apply in these scenarios. If internet is not available, there are other options.
Gigabit Speeds, When Is It Coming?
Check out our coverage map to see where AT&T Fiber is at and cities underway. If AT&T Fiber is available, you can order now!
We will check your address, just fill out a form
If your neighbor has AT&T Fiber, we can research your address to see if it's available. Remember, distance and equipment still play a factor as mentioned above.
Heads Up: Some areas, or homes, may not have AT&T Fiber, yet. There a many factors including those listed above. It can take time to build out areas for fiber so please pardon our dust.

I live in Midlothian Tx and I am wondering when a faster more reliable internet service can be offered by att or any other provider. Apparently the fast optical stuff is not yet in our area, but I just want to know the plans for the future so I can support it and hope for it.

Our subdivision is trying to bring in internet service, but we don't seem to be contacting the right people. We would like to have a neighborhood feasibility study done. We are in Belton, MO, and have a subdivision of about 95 houses.

Our current cable/internet/phone provider(Spectrum) has increased our bill $25.00 since our last bill in February 2017. Spectrum bought out TWC in 2016 and right now they are the only internet provider in most rural areas of our county(Gaston, NC). It would be of great benefit to ATT and potential subscribers if we had the choice of another reliable ISP.
Thank you.

I'm fairly certain Xfinity installed fiber into our home a while back. We already had cable, so I don't know what else they'd have been doing. And my not-so-tech-savvy Mom even clearly remembers the words fiber optic internet being spoken by them. Not to mention the service guy I spoke to when first buying AT&T internet told me my internet would have a fiber optic connection but never stated installations were necessary.
So with all that being said, why does it say that a fiber optic gigabit connection is unavailable?

I'm hoping someone can help me. I've been a long time U-verse customer and am building a new home in a new subdivision and want to carry my service with me. Over that past 3 weeks I've spoke with no less than 12 service reps, technicians and sales people (transferred multiple times per call). Opening and closing tickets, saying they'll get back to me and even getting "disconnected" during a 20-minute call today. They tell me can't send a technician to the home b/c they can't find the address (1st house on the street). I ask for a local number so I can tell the tech where to go, but they say that they don't have a local number - then how do they reach the local tech to hook up the cable/internet??? This is SOOO frustrating, I am trying to keep them as my service provider, but they keep bouncing me around, opening new tickets and NOT really doing anything to HELP me! How do I talk to someone who can resolve this for me?

We have 3 houses on 1 peice of property, and on 1 driveway, my sister has DSL at the furthest point from the DSLam, but the other 2 houses are unavailable for service. I have previously tried to get internet with no success therefore I need a supervisor to do a site check and correct an error in the computer, because there are 2 other customers on this property that want service.
There should be plenty extra spaces for new subscribers of DSL as they recently installed fiber optic in part of our neighborhood. Please contact me someone. [edited for privacy – please do not post personal information]

Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if there was a way to get the name, number, and email of our community representative for the city of Davie, FL? In the community where I live, there are several residents who are interested in getting Fiber service and we would like to make an official request to AT&T to see what is the timeline to have this service become available?
Thanks in advance!

U-Verse is just right down the street from me and not available where I live! All is needed is a cable to run for 1.5 miles and 125+ residences would have U-Verse. I have no idea who to contact for help or a grant application for my area. High speed internet is going all over my area in more rural areas around me and do not understand why. Please help me! PLEASE!
