When is AT&T Fiber Going to be Available - Things to know from AT&T
When is AT&T Internet coming to my neighborhood? We're Working On It
AT&T Internet is not available in all areas but AT&T is working to change that! Below, you will find information explaining:
- why services may not be available
- other AT&T internet options
- news about AT&T Fiber expansions
Why AT&T Internet is not available
- Distance – AT&T Internet is a distance-dependent service. If you are too far away from the equipment, certain services may not be available. This means your neighbor may have service but your home cannot.
- Equipment is not available – To get service, AT&T Internet equipment has to be in the area. In some instances, it isn't. We do not have information if or when it will be.
- The area is not built for U-verse – some areas are not U-verse ready. The Community team does not have information if or when it will be. Distance and equipment can play a key in instances like this.
- Another competitor services there area - This happens from time to time but it does not mean all services are not available to you. Check out other internet options below!
Note: In order to get higher speeds, you must be within a certain distance of the serving equipment or the equipment must be present in the area. Points 1 and 2 apply in these scenarios. If internet is not available, there are other options.
Gigabit Speeds, When Is It Coming?
Check out our coverage map to see where AT&T Fiber is at and cities underway. If AT&T Fiber is available, you can order now!
If your neighbor has AT&T Fiber, we can research your address to see if it's available. Remember, distance and equipment still play a factor as mentioned above.
Heads Up: Some areas, or homes, may not have AT&T Fiber, yet. There a many factors including those listed above. It can take time to build out areas for fiber so please pardon our dust.

I believe at&t are installing fiber in my area but I am not sure they are doing construction and have cables which look like fiber cables. I want fiber since i have been scammed for 13 years by your company and I want reasonable speeds for family and not pay your outrageous price for 6mbps internet. 45 dollars by the way. So if you aren’t doing construction to give my area fiber get on it right away. My zip code is 30157 so start working on that fiber.

I am moving into a NEW construction neighborhood. AT&T fiber was run to EVERY lot in the subdivision. I built on a corner lot that didn't have a street address assigned to it (depending on house layout, it could have been on either street). ALL other (NON-corner) lots in the subdivision show that Internet is available. What will it take to order (transfer my) service at this address?

I live in Rancho Cordova CA, and neighborhoods within a mile of me has ATT Fiber. My immediate neighborhood does not, but fiber is on three sides of us. Also I am paying $50+10/mo for 100/20 VDSL when I see now Internet 100 price just dropped to $35+10 for any flavor of 100mbps four days after I activated my ATT internet. I hope the Fiber rollout continues in Rancho Cordova.

I live in a mobile home park on Magnolia Ave in Riverside, CA. I understand that one of the main fiber lines, runs right past the property I live on. It runs parallel to Magnolia Ave. There are no other services available here but AT&T DSL w/3 to 4.9Mbps. Why isn't fiber internet available to us? Could it be because we have no other services available and AT&T can charge us the same for DSL as Fiber?

Thanks for your interest in AT&T Fiber, @MagnoliaAve10513!
We are always working to expand our fiber services. There are several reasons why it may not have made it to you yet. You can always check your eligibility as it may be added at any time!
If you have any other questions, let us know!

The notify me link is for uverse, and therefore of no value since att no longer installs new service for that product.

I have a Fiber Line sitting at my front lawn as foo all houses in my neighborhood. I watched them dig and finish the lines as I went through the process of picking my lot and building my home. I have spoken with the engineers as they quality checked and tested the lines. They were completed and down now some 6 months ago. The post up front is stamped with my house number 920 ****** ATT Fiber. Now 4 months after moving in.... ATT still can’t find my address for verification.
What a crazy waste of fiber to not turn on too 30 odd houses.
