What is best date to cancel service

My uverse TV, Internet and phone discounts end on October 13, 2020. A new billing period started October 4, 2020, what is the best date / day to cancel service?  Considering At&t bills a month ahead.    don't want to pay for a service I won't have.  I also don't want to have problems with closing an account.

Cancel a day or two before the end of the current billing date and BEFORE a new billing cycle happens.  If your billing dates ENDS on Nov. 3, then cancel the 1st or 2nd.  Make sure you get the email confirming the date.


You are correct, if you cancel even one day into a new billing cycle, you will be charged for the ENTIRE billing cycle.


FYI:  You have 60 days to return all equipment via UPS/FedEx.  Instructions should be sent via email.

Don't mess with old people.  The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.
