Waiving Early Termination Fee

I had reception issues with Uverse since the day I connected.

After seeing many customers on this forum with the same issue go unresolved, I canceling my service.

The $270 + last month service termination fee is over the top.

Since AT&T could not provide me acceptable service, how can I get this fee waived?
