U-verse TV Everywhere Authentication Error

I have AT&T U-verse U300 and every TV Everywhere app and/or website I try to login to tells me that I am not authorized or that I need to contact my service provider. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hey, @andy767, we'd be glad to help you get back into your app.

 

Since you're getting an authentication error everywhere, we'd recommend following these steps in this order:

 

  • Reboot your Gateway to resend authorizations to your account.

  • Next, reboot your main U-verse Receiver by unplugging it for 20 seconds and then plugging it back in, and repeat this step for all other receivers you have.

  • After everything powers back up, try accessing it again.

Just to be clear, I am not having an issue with any of my AT&T/ U-verse equipment. When I say “everywhere,” I’m talking about “TV Everywhere”. https://www.att.com/support/topic/u-verse-tv/topic_streamingappssettin0-topic_tveverywhere/

The issue is that I cannot login to the ABC app, for example, and access any of the programs on the app (or any other app such as CNN, NBC, Discovery, etc.). In all cases, the apps tell me that my AT&T account is not authorized the service.

Either way, I will reboot the gateway then the main receiver, then the others but I’m not holding my breath that this will resolve the issue.

Try resetting your password. This may resolve it. 

 

Also, if multiple users are accessing the account, there is a limit.

Gotcha,

 

Have you attempted to reset the password? Sometimes that syncs up communication between the apps.
