U verse

Why is AT&T Taking advantage of the elderly. Thank you AT&T for forcing blind and deaf women and the retired women taking care of her to the street for a quick dolllar instead of offering quality service. I hope someone with authority and some common sense read this. Finish your job and connect the houses to the cable you ran down the road and stop taking advantage of people because you know they have no other choice but pay for this half of a service. You use existing phone lines but charge as if u paid to run these cable line to the house and actually provide a decent service

For more than 50 a month she gets 6mb/s download and .4 upload. Yes point 4. In the area a Mobile hotspot is 10 times faster with little phone service. How about you charge based on the service provided. They say up to 50 Mb/s but in reality she’s lucky to maintain 5mb/s. My mother is retired and takes care of my disabled grandmother living in wake county NC. You would think that the county with the capital of the state would have Internet. They told her speed of up to 50 mb/s for about $50 a month. Come to find out at&t has already ran the cable lines down the roads but refuse to connect anyone of the hundreds of people in the area to it. Upon visiting them she asked how she can get Internet to work from home. Being retired and taking care of her mother she doesn’t have enough money to maintain. So she decided to look for some work from home. Only to find out that she doesn’t have the Internet required to do so. AT&T is Making billions of dollars but if she has them come out to check the service they will charge her over a hundred dollars depending on what they do and m if there is anything wrong. I hope one day AT&T stops destroying families lives to make profit.
