Retention Pricing

I have a hard time understanding the price increases from AT&T. I understood the first year why I could not keep my pricing the same as I was a "NEW" customer to AT&T. Now here I am a year later and I am having to renegotiate this pricing arrangement and again I am being taken advantage of. As a repeat customer last time pricing should be similar if not the same or better with newly designed services or hardware that wasnt availble before.  It is going to be $40 more a month for the same services I had before. I just do not see the value here and the lack of help from the retention department on this. When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was notified they were all busy and my name will be put on a list to be called back within 24 hours..... In 24 hours my pricing will increase almost $100 unless I figure this out. I am with uverse because I enjoy the clarity and the dependibility of the TV, but why should I have to pay such a premium over other cable providers that offer much better internet speeds. Please someone help resolve this before I have to do much more work and canceling services.

Thanks,

Well I just wanted to compare prices with Charter. My AT&T promotions ended at 12 months, but I dare you to see if you can find Charter's regular non-discounted prices on their website.

Of course AT&T may not have theirs there either...lol

It was a repeat customer 12 month scheme I think. Needless to say I received a phone call today and we have put everything to arrest thanks to a member of this group. Thank you!
