Retention department

I was supposed to receive a call from the locality department explaining the promotions you have available to me. They never called like the representative told me they would. The Reps name was Elli

This is a public forum of other customers. So your complaint will not go to AT&T.

 

Unfortunately sounds like you got a bad agent who was inflating his save rate (assuming he works in the retention department). You call AT&T, not the other way around. When you get the voice system say "cancel" which should route you directly.

 

In addition to discussing options to retain your business, or canceling if they don't work for you, I would also submit a complaint on the prior agent for making a false promise.
