Refund for not broadcasting local CBS

How do I get the one time $10 refund for not receiving my local CBS channel due to Mission Broadcasting.

It is a carriage contract dispute between Mission Broadcasting (Nexstar) and DirecTV/U-verse. Mission Broadcasting, the affiliate owner, dismissed contract offerings so Mission Broadcasting pulled their network feed from DirecTV/U-verse until they meet their contract demands, or they can come to an agreement. It's an all-too-common tactic by the affiliate owners. This is also affecting Dish TV subscribers as well. You can contact U-verse and ask about the $10 refund.

I did. They literally don't know? Didn't even know it's available, yet it's on their website tvpromise.com. It's stated at the bottom. You go login and it's nowhere too be found. What a PR scam.

I never received a return call I was told would occur. I had to ask 5 times for the supervisor. The rep explained to me she had the same training as the supervisor so there was no need for me to talk to one. Finally, the rep said the supervisor would call back once the supervisor completed a call. That action never occurred (nor did I expect it too).

I called back. This time was the mirror opposite. Explained the situation again. This rep immediately began processing the refund. (Which the original rep said didn't exist and wasn't possible because the system would not allow the refund too process) A few minutes later not only had the second rep processed refund, but verified that it had already posted!!

An average customer would not have been as tenacious as I was. Just too much competition that offers similar services to have to tolerate bad service!!

For future reference, DirecTV has its own forum HERE
