Not what I signed up for!
U300/50mbps. I negotiated a rate with AT&T, and later on I get an email, with different amounts than I agreed to.
I called to have it corrected, and was assured that the amount would be correct, even though the previous employee said the same thing. Surprise - the amount is still wrong.
I guess I'll have to call again. What a shame, because next I'm writing our city's mayor, our state's governor, and our state representative, and senator. Do I write the FCC, and call the local news? How long can this go on.
I read about many people having my same problem. Unfortunately, there aren't many options, and I feel companies take advantage of this.

This is part of a customer billing responsibility transfer, beginning yesterday. Regardless of the current rates, I agreed to different amounts. I went very slow, item by item, to make sure there was agreement.
TV at $57, internet at $50. That is what was agreed upon mutually after speaking with two representatives. They are still trying to charge $60.
If I'm not able to have the agreed upon rates, why offer them on the phone. Does AT&T not bound by their verbal agreements? Or do they hope people will give up? Outrageous.
