Live streaming on ESPN App or ESPN.com

I am an AT&T U-verse customer.  I have ESPN as part of my TV package.  When I try to live stream on my ESPN App or ESPN.com using my U-verse login info, I get a message that says “This content is not part of my TV package” and I should contact my TV provider.  I contacted AT&T and spoke to 4 different technical support representatives.  Each concluded that everything was OK on their end. The only solution that was offered was that I should use the U-verse App to watch ESPN on my iPhone.  I am not satisfied with this answer. 
A friend of mine uses Spectrum for his TV provider and he has no problem doing exactly what I described above. 
I have concluded that I am the only one having this problem OR AT&T is not allowing any of their customers to live stream ESPN.

It works fine.  When telling the ESPN app to use your Uverse subscription, is it logging in correctly?  Do you see the Uverse logo displayed in the app?  And, are you able to use your att credentials to login to the Uverse app?

 I know the credentials needed for att can be confusing and convoluted.

I am able to live stream ESPN from my U-verse account.

What are you using to login to the ESPN app?

 

To determine if your account has been properly registered, you can access the myAT&T Login page and enter your phone number as the Access ID.

 

  • If the password does not work, you can click the ‘Reset Password’ option below the boxes to enter your credentials.
  • If you are unable to locate your account, please click on ‘Create new ID’.
  • While going through the set up process, you can ensure your account is linked to your wireless number. If an account is already linked to the number, an error message will display and prompt you to back to the login page.
