I never received my ATT reward card notification in the mail - Now I am told I cannot claim it
I spoke with an agent after waiting 15 minutes to get through. I was told my reward expired. I never received the notification in the mail. After speaking the rep she told me
I was not longer eligible and she was transferring me to a supervisor and then the line went dead.
ATT this is no way to treat one of your best customers. I have been an ATT customer for 20 years with multiple phone lines etc.

not able to resolve my issue so i called the rewards center. Waited 15
minutes on hold. Rep advised since i did not respond to the mailed card to
claim my reward it has now expired and I have lost the reward...no way to
claim it back. The agent told me she was connecting me with a supervisor
but she hung up on me.
I never received the card in the mail stating I needed to call them to
claim my reward. This was never explained to me when I signed up for ATT
Uverse. The reward card was $100. A reward is a reward. I really need
this money to help repair my house damaged in the hurricane. Thanks a lot
ATT!

I never received my reward either. I called...called..then I was told I'm not eligible for my rewards because its past the 120 days. I NEVER recieved anything in the mail about my reward notification. Im very dissapointed in this service as a new customer. It's misleading and wrong!!!!! Customer service is awful and rude....need better training!! No compassion what so ever!! Something needs to be done about this. You want service and referrals...be honest to the ones that you suckered in and maybe...just maybe people will refer them to you! I left Charter/Spectrum for this!? This is false advertising! PIST!!!

After spending about 3 hours on the phone they other day. I'm convinced that 1/2 the company thinks they can "resolve" the problem and get the card issued or 're-validate/extend' the request period. But after going through 4 or so loops of "this person will resolve"-> "told they can not", handing off to someone that can fix -> I'll send you to the department that can fix -> back to start/go (with up to a 15-20 minute wait for many times on hold). I'm convinced their protocols are mixed up/flawed. I'm the type of person that keeps everything. I found the original advertisement that clearly states I will get a card (not the ability to request a card), the notes of the entire sales, etc...there is no ambiguity to the situation. I'm documenting and sending it off to the proper consumer protection people in my state. Instead of canceling and then having them chase me for some large amount of $ in early cancellation, I will continue to request the card or a $100 credit and document the situation. If not solved, on the anniversary of my subscription I will cancel and leave $100 on the account which they can pursue to the end of the earth. The only leverage they have is my credit report which this will have little to no affect in my case.

After putting some thought into this issue i think i may have come up with a reason people are not getting their reward card notifications, last night my wife asked if we ever got a 25.00 gift card we were suppose to get almost a year ago (i completely forgot about it) so i serached through all my emails back to the day i got the reward. Nothing no email no notification, then it dawned on me i sined up for dsl 20 years ago and got an sbcglobal.net email account i looked up my bill and contact info lo and behold my contact email was sbcglogal ,meaning they sent my notification to an account i hadnt logged into in 19 years heck i wouldnt remember the password if my life depended on it. i know this isnt the case with every customer but for some this may be the case especially for seasoned customers.

Same issue happened to me, I was actually told by and AT&T rep that if I did not receive a notice in the mail within 90 days to call back. Funny thing is the rewards card expires in 75 after they mail the rewards letter. Never received the letter, even have my postal service set up to show my my mail online. Nothing there. I believe this is a scam to get customers to sign up. I called the rewards service number and they can not do anything since the reward is now expired.
