I have a billing problem from an upgrade
I recently called ATT to request a faster internet speed. The individual on the line quoted me a low price if I also signed up for UVERSE. She made a lot of promises which didn't happen. No install costs, fixed pricing on internet for a year, she quoted a lower price for the internet than what i received plus a 100 gift card.
I also asked her directly whether the Uverse deal was tied to the internet. She said yes you had to get both. That was not true.
I have been a loyal customer of ATT for over 20 years. Both mobile and home services. I'm not the person that shops for every deal on these services. I do expect less complexity from this arrangement.
I've called several times requesting to have that call retrieved and that ATT would deliver what was promised. I've had several customer service representatives say they would look into it and call me back. They never do.
This has personally left me feeling unappreciated as a customer. At this point I'm considering just disconnecting the whole thing and taking advantage of a cable marketing intro. In the long run I'll still save money from this "deal".
