Getting credit for already returned U-Verse equipment
I returned my U-Verse DVR over eight weeks ago along with two U-Verse receivers through UPS. They gave me a receipt listing the serial numbers. Now I got an email and now a letter asking me to return the DVR. It seems they were able to log in the two receivers as returned but not the DVR.
I called the 800-288-2020 and spent my usual two hours plus with them for no resolution. Supposedly that problem doesn’t show up in their various systems. Seems AT&T for security reasons compartmentalizes data and account access.
Does anyone know of a communication channel such as an email that I can send my receipt from UPS to someone who can access the relevant data and correct my records. If I can’t resolve this I’ll be charge about $150 dollars for this device or spend another two hours on the phone.
