Fiber availability
Anyone know when fiber is coming to spring and woodlands. 14 years with att wireless and U-verse and slow 25mbps internet. Comcast finally came to neighborhood. Hate to switch but I need faster internet

While ATT still has about 3 years left of the current 5 year (2021 to end end 2025) built out to provide an additional 15 million residential addresses to the first 15 million provided from 2016 to end 2020.
This 30+ million of fiber addresses will represent 50% of all hardwired addresses within 21 state footprint.
With over 20 million already provided for at start of 2023 leaves 10 million to go with 40 million available.
Your overall chances of being upgraded is 10/40 or 25%.
Only time will tell which have your address, neighborhood will be a part of…
in the meantime consider your best options for your family needs.
This may involve a different ISP or relocation to one of the 20+ million addresses where the desired service is currently available.
