Hi,

I did receive effective help following my original posting. It seems this method was the only way to get a solution for the issue.

By far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. ATT customer service is non existent. Unhelpful, non resolving, useless, uncaring, stealing, money hungry and not even one out of five star rating service. Be like me and pay to end contract agreements so you too can switch providers. Its going to save me a lot money and trouble in the long run. ATT Is the worst provider under the sun.

Hello my name is Pamela *** I live in Louisville Ky.  I’m writing in regards to the terrible experience I have had just trying to get started with your services! I’ve had nothing but confusion and aggrevation from this experience.  I had several of your technicians show up at random times that were not set up for an appointment.  Seems as though no one knows what’s going on, that the two companies att and direct tv do not coordinate with one another efficienctly! One minute I’m supposed to be getting direct tv and then the next I’m not.  One tech lined me up to get it then the tech that showed up said it was unavailable due to my neighbors trees.  Then, next thing I know I receive a bill summary charging me for direct tv.  I finally got that squared away! The next thing I know we had a guy show up unscheduled to supposedly take care of temporary cable line left in my back yard for over two weeks.  He then said the permanent cable had been already buried at which I had no knowledge of.  So. Someone came to my home and on my property without permission and they left the temporary cable just laying in my yard.  I’m totally upset with the way you guys handle your business, and to think that I’m locked in a company contract with you for one whole year truly upsets me.  The tech also left a jar of connectors on my deck for which my dog got ahold of! Thank god nothing happened so far to my dog!!! I believe it to be your responsibility to figure out a way to make this right between your company and myself as a consumer trying to make you aware of what’s going on within your company.  Awaiting patiently for your response.  Thanks Pamela W[edited for privacy – please do not post personal information]

@Pamelawheatley   This is a peer-to-peer forum, meaning we are customers just like you.  No one from AT&T will see your post.  Also, it is a PUBLIC forum and you should remove personal information from your post.

The only advice is that you can find AT&T corporate address with a Google search.  If you want to pursue any sort of complaint, you can snail mail them (no email available...ironic right?).  Others have posted that they did get a resolution using that method.

FOR CURRENT INFORMATION FROM AT&T CONCERNING COVID-19, PLEASE FOLLOW THE LINK IN THE BRIGHT ORANGE BANNER AT THE TOP OF THIS PAGE.

I recently had a similar experience.  AT&T accidentally shut off my service.  When I called to have it turned back on, they changed my plan (added TV and enrolled me in a contract).  I've been trying to get back to my original service and bill.  The Loyalty Department service rep refused to transfer me to a supervisor.  I called the regular customer service number and that rep said all complaints were handled by the back office at the email address consumer.appeals@att.com.  My email bounced back as undeliverable, as well:

I cancelled service with AT&T on February 1, 2020 because I was moving. I was told at that time to turn in the equipment at any FedEx or UPS store which I did. I was also told that I will not be billed another payment since I cancelled service. I asked this question twice because I wanted to make sure that I would not be billed. Here it is February 14, 2020 and $40 has come out of my bank account. I called AT&T and was connected to a black girl, who while I was talking, hung up on me! How rude! You never hang up on your customers. I called back in and asked for a supervisor. At this point, I was very mad because of the horrible customer service and was told that I did owe another payment in full. I told them that the rep provided me with different information and I want to be refunded. The supervisor, named Michelle, out of Atlanta, GA (who is by far the rudest call center) stated that I will not refund your money and you are just mad because you were hung up on! Really???? She turned out to be just as rude as her employees. Every african american person I have spoke with out of the Atlanta, GA call center is RUDE! It seems as if they have been able to get away with this unaaceptable behavior.

I am so glad that I am no longer a customer with AT&T! I would never recommend anyone to AT&T. Has anyone else out there had really rude customer service out of the Atlanta, GA call center? It is obvious that they are not well trained there. I am hoping someone from corporate will read my posting and email me at [email scrubbed].

I am demanding a refund of $40.00 back to my bank account.

This company is very unfair, I had been this company for twenty years or more, I discontinued this service on March 2 2020, and I still being billed for 30 days of service, when I only had the service for 5 days. Very unfair. I would not recomend this company to anyone. They are cheating people.

I had been with this company for over 20 years, I discontinued this service on March 2 2020. I am being unfairly billed for 30 days of service when I should have only beeb billed for 5 days.

Very unfair practices that this company has used on it’s customers.

@Landlines it’s policy whether you agree with it or not. We were all notified a year ago
